Quick take: Pollonais, Blanc, de la Bastide & Jacelon is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, managing invoice processing and vendor relationships through expert financial administration, with reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer.

Why it matters: In this role, you’ll serve as the crucial link between the firm and its vendors, managing the company’s accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, financial transactions and deposit requisitions while maintaining compliance with regulations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Go deeper: This position requires superior organisational skills, attention to detail, and deep understanding of accounting procedures. In this role, you will:
Process and verify invoices and financial transactions with 100% accuracy
Manage vendor relationships and payment processes
Prepare and maintain accounts payable records
Process deposit requisitions and reconciliations
Produce comprehensive monthly reports and audit documentation
Participate in month-end closing procedures
Handle sensitive financial information with complete discretion
Details: Ideal candidates will embody professional rigour and commitment to exceptional standards. This position requires:
CAT Level 2 or relevant experience in accounting in a computerised environment
Proficient in MS Office Suite: Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Data entry skills
Good analytical skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prepare accurate reports within tight deadlines
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
Good understanding of general accounting procedures
